Cell membrane is the essential part of cell. cell membrane helps in its intrigity and proper functioning. it keep the cell organel safe and provides selective and proper nutrients to the cell. the membrane bound protein helps the cell to keep connection with other cell and system to do proper work by signal transduction pathway. if the cell membrane disrupt the intigrity of cell will be disrupt and cell will die. on the other hand the system of the body cannot do proper function as the cell membrane disrupt.
