All-American Clothing Co. manufactuers, operates, and sells exclusivley within the borders of the United States. During a job interview for this company, you mention that you just took a class in which globalization was one of the main topics. The interviewer says that at a firm like this one, globalization is irrelevent. Do you agree or disagree?

I disagree. Globalization can never be an irrelevant topic with reference to today\'s market dynamics.

The world market is becoming flatter and flatter with each passing day. Companies and people now see the world as one big market place. Globalization is important as well as imperative.

If a company is not dealing in markets outside its home country today, it does not mean it will not do so tomorrow. All American Clothing Co. currently operates and sells in USA. However, it should certainly consider other markets in different countries where the demand for its products have the same or even better business potential. All American Co. cannot ignore globalization in today\'s economic scenario. People are cross selling using online channels, outsourcing production etc. The scope is infinite.

Thus i disagree with the statement.
