The plant will be 1 to 3 feet tall and will have one to several branched stems. You can see the growth of new shoots from a caudex and that too just under the soil surface. The flowers will have rose like fragrance and will have showy stamen, small white petals. One of the important features is the shiny little berries on all parts of the plant (which are highly toxic).
