Discuss how the definition of privacy that is commonly used (freedom from observation) may differ from the definition of privacy from the information security perspective (freedom from unsanctioned intrusion). Also, how does this change when users are exchanging their personal information in order to use “free” sites (e.g., Facebook)?

Freedom of privacy in term of \"Freedom from observation\" says that in this world every person should have its own person area and no body is allow to enter or even to see what person is with in its privacy.

Freedom of privacy in term of \"Freedom from unsanctioned intrusion\" says that every one has its right to keep its information and important data private and no body is allowed to be intruder and check the person information of that person.

Difference between these two types of privacy is as follows:

i) Freedom of observation talks more about person\'s private activties, its more specific to person\'s privacy.
ii) Freedom from unsanctioned intrusion talks about persons important information security.

Putting and exchanging your personal information on free sites or social networking sites have major impact on your privacy in following ways:

i) By putting and exchanging person information on free sites does not maintain your information privacy as other people can see as well as use your personal information.
ii)As we knew that for money making these free sites sell their data to third party companies, which can spread your personal information like name, date of birth and mobile number, it also can your privacy.
