There are some of us that have been touched by suicide in our families or friendships. Certainly, those of us that have worked in funeral service for any length of time have served families of a suicide victim.Is suicide ever rational? Please give us your thoughts on this subject.

Self-preservation is the basis of the survival of the human kind and suicide can be seen in the light of the the fact that the deeply ingrained self-preservation subsides and the tendency to commit suicide supersedes. Suicidal thoughts can be an outcome of a disturbed human being physically or mentally.
