let the function is N=N0(1-0.57)^t=N0(0.43)^T     and let T=6 hour

(a)therfore rate per hour=t=T/6 = N(1)=N(T/6)=N0(0.43)^(T/6)=0.8687N0

therfore decreased by (1-0.8687)=0.1313 that is 13.13%

(b) After every 40 minuts=(40/60)hour=(2/3)hour

t=(T/6)*(2/3)=T/9

N(40minutes)=N(T/9)=N0(0.43)^(T/9)=0.9104N0

therfore decreased by (1-0.9104)=0.0896 that is 8.96%

(c)After every 24 hour

t=(T/6)*(24)=4T

N(40minutes)=N(4T)=N0(0.43)^(4T)=0.0341N0

therfore decreased by (1-0.0341)=0.9658 that is 96.58%
