Answer is NaN3 but why There are no electron withdrawing gro
Answer is NaN3 but why? There are no electron withdrawing groups to make this substution possible?
Solution
here the nan3 exists as [NA+][N3-] when this reagent is mixed with the compund then the NAN3 gets down to N2,[NA+],[N-]
NA+ takes the br and forms NABR and on the benzene it will be hydrogen deficit and benzene attck the N- electron rich site
