Effects of -   

1.Diuretics:- They are commonly known as water pills.In case of high blood pressure, diuretics helps the body come out of unrequired water and salt via urine.This escaping from excess salt and fluids helps body to have lower blood pressure.Diuretics such as Esidrix or Zaroxolyn are used in treatment of high b.p,heart failure,kidney and liver problems.   

2. Beta blockers:- Commonly known as beta beta adrenergic blocking agents.These are used as medications for reducing blood pressure.They block effects of hormone epinephrine also called as adrenaline and make heart beat slower with less force.

3. Inhibitor channel blockers:- The blockers like calcium channel blockers inhibit calcium entry into heart and blood vessels walls lowering b.p and relieves from chest pain controlling irregular heartbeat.
