What are the differences between centralized and distributed

What are the differences between centralized and distributed network routing and which method is the most efficient for an organization’s high volume website?

Solution

First let us understand what is routing, it’s the process where paths are chosen for network traffic and send the data over network. And it has ways of doing it one is Centralised routing and another is distributed routing. In centralised way of routing, the process is carried out by using centralised database. And in other model network is routed using distributed database. In centralised model routing table is stored at central node and in distributed model routing tables are kept at each node. Because of way of storing table the distributed model can provide the functionality of on demand computation of paths and also distributed model is highly consistent with existing Internet system.

And with the features of being able to provide on demand computation distributed model is better for high volume website.
