The executive leadership of an organization, managerial personnel and the board of governors are responsible for supporting patient\'s safety. The leaders should have a health policy in place which will document the main role of the nursing staff towards maintaining the safety of the patients. The leaders should also have a policy that looks at making changes in the work environment that will promote and improve patient\'s safety. The leadership can shape the  organizational work environment in such a way that patient\'s safety is always the main motive and aim of the organization.
