. A manufacturing process is suspected to be affected by the level of humidity. Humidity and scrap data was taken on several days. Use the least squares regression method to determine a prediction equation for the data. Determine the equation first by using matrix calculations in Excel and then using the Excel regression data analysis tool. What is the r squared value? The company would like to know what would happen to the scrap level if the level of humidity level reaches 0.70 (70%). Is the model a good indicator of the effects of humidity on scrap?

Hi

In Excel , create the data as above and create the equation and install data anlysis plugin .

Go to the Data tab and check for data analysis .open data analysis

Give the X and Y value and specify threshold if you want .

Then click ok .

The above

result is obtained when I made the confidence level to 70% .
