Solution

This diagram resembles with the daily life problems we deal with along with their method to solve them. In computer terminology, this method is known as algorithm which is defined as step by step intstructions to solve a problem.

If we give a certain set of inputs to an algorithm, we will get desired set of output.

Another terminology in Computer Science:

In computer science, solution (method) is also known as imperative knowledge i.e., knowing how to reach the solution. while solution (answer) is called declarative knowledge i.e., knowing the answer even without knowing the method. For e.g., consider this entangled rope, it may be possible that we don\'t know how to sort that rope but we do know the final result.
