How might a deadline that is too easy to meet cause someone to work more slowly than he or she might otherwise work?
Solution
A deadline or a target timeline that is too effortless to achieve may cause someone to operate more leisurely than normal because there is less anxiety and thus less provocation to get the work completed. The employee / worker in this case know that by putting in a negligible quantity of effort, they can effortlessly complete the assignment and because of that opinion, they work less demanding and more leisurely. This situation at times even breeds complacency, over confidence which leads to lower quality of work.
