In asynchronous messaging there is no wait for the reponse for the message transmitted. both the systems symultaniously transmit the data and do not wait for any kind of respose of the recepient for the communication sent.

Email is the most common example for asynchronous messaging.

Asynchronous message passing allows more parallelism communciation to multiple systems without any blocking for response from the recepient.

But the disadvantage is primarily on the loss of info as there is no response communciation form the recepient for the data receievd and can lead to delivery of incomplete data.
