Our selection for team members for the West Coast Transit marketing project are, Elizabeth, Katelyn, William and Susan. Though the profiles of each candidate looked great and each offered a unique skill set, we found that these individual’s work styles, motivators and personalities would match up well and would lead to a successful completion of the project. We picked these candidates because we saw a reoccurring theme in their profiles of them working well in teams. They are all also very driven individuals who are goal oriented and enjoy problem solving. In this group of people, there is a negotiator, a problem solver, a tenured employee, an ambitious new employee, a perfectionist, and a creative. We thought that these personality traits would play well off each other in creating the marketing plan on a deadline while delivering high quality work. There is also a similarity in motivation within this group of chosen candidates. Most are motivated by challenges, trust, and doing great work. Since this project has a quick turn around and is high stakes, the company is putting a lot of trust in these four individuals and expects excellent results. That expectation alone will be a great motivator for these capable candidates. Finally, we felt that the range of tenure in the selected group would help greatly in the process of making this plan. The experience of William, and Elizabeth will give the group a depth of knowledge and the newer employees, Katelyn, and Susan will give fresh perspective. We thought that in combination, this would help in the development of a successful and wide-reaching marketing campaign that will speak to our key public\'s and help us rise against our competitors.
