It is not important to get all the copper out of a test tube between trials as copper oxide is reduced to form copper. Since the experiment in the next trial is a reduction reaction, and the copper metal form copper oxide from previous trial is already in its most reduced state, therefore the copper left in the test cannot add into the oxygen produced during the reduction reaction. Therefore, it is not important to get all of the copper out of a test tube between trials. The left over copper metal would not produce inaccuracy or produce inaccurate results.
