Solution
Mitochondrial proteins deficiency is responsible for premature aging that cause WSF2. The gene CISD2 located in the mammalian mice chromosomes have illustrated that this gene is playing a role in causing Wolfram syndrome 2 (WFS2) if it is deficient o mutated because this gene is responsible for the synthesis of mitochondrial proteins. The examination of this gene activity in CISD2 heterozygous mice has illustrated that CISD2 protein has not synthesized by mitochondrial genes & these results were compared to Wild-type mice with CISD2 activity. This is because deficiency of CISD2 heterozygous protein in knockout mice has led to dysfunctional activity of mitochondria followed by autophagic cell death and muscle degeneration in knockout mice compared to Wild-type mice that depicts premature aging.
