Solution
2. In the hospitality industry the lodging facility is gaining importance. The preferences and requirements of the customers are also changing as the travel and tourism industry booms. The customer demands are the primary factor which has influenced the growth and development of the lodging facilities provided by the hotels. Apart from this the architecture also has played a vital role in the development of the lodging facilities. In earlier periods the lodging requirements were less as the inflow of the world tourists were less (Niewiadomski, 2015).
In the historical holiday spots like great city of bath the requirement of the lodging facilities began to rise as the flow of the customers increased. Here the lodging facilities are planned and developed as per the requirement of the customers arriving. Primarily the customers needed only accommodation facilities, food etc from the lodging facilities. Later on the requirement of the customers changed and they started preferring to have standardized furniture, internet facilities, better customer service etc. As the customer requirement changed the architecture also changed.
