1) We can predict the reactivity of the metal based on their property to loose electron.We know that more readily the metal will loose electron more reactive it is .As we move from left to right in the periodic table the reactivity of the metal decreases because the ionization energy increases .While on moving down the group the tendency to loose electron increases and hence the reactivity increases.
