B. Describe a way that you could charge the electroscope positively using only the negative rubber rod and your finger.

a)

Charge on Ball A is positive and Ball B is negative.

b)

Negative rubber rod is kept near electroscope

Then near face will have positive charge and other face will have neagative charge

then touch electroscope with your finger then negative charge will be discharged and now total charge present is only positive charge

then remove the finger first then remove the rubber.

Finally the charge on electroscope is positive.
