A battery with an emf of 60 V is connected to the two capacitors shown, afterward , the charge on capacitor 2 is 450 uC. What is the capacitance of capacitor 2? ( assume ideal battery)

as capacitors are in series ,so same charge flows through both the capacitors.So Voltage across 12 uF is
V12=Q/C12=450/12 =37.5 Volts
Voltage across C2 is
V2=V-V12=60-37.5 =22.5 Volts
so capacitance of capacitor c2 is
C2=Q/V2=450/22.5
C2=20 uF
