Solution
Answer:
To calculate the noon sun angle, we should know about the sun overhead latitude of that area. Suppose that sun overhead location are about 23.5 degrees N. Therefore, Latitude separates between two locations are :
42 degree N- 23.5 degree N= 18.5 degree
And the noon sun angle(summer) would be :
90-18.5= 71.5 degrees.
And, for winter would be:
Latitude separates between two locations are 42 degree N + 23.5 degree N= 65.5 degree
Noon sun angle (winter)= 90 -65.5= 24.5 degrees.
