What is/are the difference(s) between prejudice and discrimination? Your answer must have a minimum of 7 sentences.
Solution
The prejudice is one\'s opinion or attitude towards a particular group of people, which includes three elements of attitude, i.e. the behaviour, cognitive and affective. Discrimination only includes the behavioural aspect of attitude, it includes the actual action against a certain group. For example, holding a set of opinions regarding homosexuals is prejudice. Taking actions against homosexuals is discrimination. However, both the prejudice and discrimination are considered unjustified attitudes.
