Now Equating the anti clockwise moments and clockwise moments about A

RI x 24 = (6 x 0) + (12 x 20) + (12 x 16) + (12 x 12) + ( 12 x 8) + (12 x 4)

RI x 24 = 0 + 240 + 192 + 144 + 96 + 48

RI x 24 = 720

RI =30 kN

RA = (6 +12 +12+12+12+12+6) -30 = 42 kN
